Route of the Mills on Profundo River

The importance of this river relays on the intense milling that in other times took place in a 7 km part of the river in which we can find 22 mills. This interesting ethnographic group has created a unique hiking trail that allows the visitor to know some of these hydraulic inventions as well as its fascinating natural surroundings.

Peña Cabrera trail

Peña Cabrera (495m.) is located in the Cabranes county and the distance of the trail is 12,4 Km. the trail starts at Villaviciosa goes through Lugas where the hotel is located and ends at the recreational area that names the trail. The paths between trees and the views from the mountain of the Villaviciosa valley make this trail one of the best attractions for nature seekers.
